St Philomena’s

St Philomena's is a retreat house for organised groups and individuals wishing to spend a few days of quiet and reflection, particularly those who would like to attend some of the monastic services and experience more fully the spiritual life of the island. We welcome everyone. Children must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

The accommodation is full board and vegetarian. The cost by donation is £75 per person per night. The house is usually open from Easter to October. We regret no pets are allowed. For advanced booking enquiries please contact us as stphilomenas@caldey-island.co.uk

Travel to & from the island for guests is strictly by designated boat only:  - Arrivals please use the last boat of the day from Tenby. Please arrive at the harbour before 2pm and enquire of the boatmen at the harbour kios/or beach tractor as to the exact time of that boat, as it will vary from day to day due to the tides. For departures please leave on the first boat off the island that day (e.g. the early mail boat to give us time to prepare for the next guests.
