Confectionery Retail Assistants for 2025 Season

Department: Confectionery

Reporting to: Confectionery Production Manager

The Roles:

We are looking for Full and Part Time assistants to work in our confectionery production facility on Caldey Island.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve customers and answer queries at the Chocolate Retail Outlet .

Rotate and replenish stock in a timely manner.

Chocolate bar wrapping and packaging.

General cleaning and excellent housekeeping.

Assist with chocolate and fudge production.

Skills and Experience:

Customer service skills.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ability to use and operate a till software.

Experience of a food production environment.

Excellent personal hygiene.

Ability to work well in a team and use your initiative.

Patience and calmness in busy situations.

Thoroughness and attention to detail.

Food Hygiene Certificate, training will be provided.

Availability to work between Monday and Saturday (Island closed on Sundays).

Rates of Pay:

21 and over £12.21 per hour plus holiday pay.

20 and under £10.00 per hour plus holiday pay.
